Paralimni Municipality

Paralimni is the main holiday area of the Famagusta district and incorporates the subdistrict of Protaras and Ayia Napa, which is a popular tourist resort. The area is famous worldwide for its crystal-clear waters and its accessible Blue Flag certified beaches of soft, powdery sand. The area also contains significant religious monuments as well as the important ancient Lefkolla Port.
